Dagger Blackwater 10.5 Expedition
Dagger Blackwater 10' 5" is an ideal, versatile kayak for touring and easy to paddle.
Its compact size makes the kayak very manageable, and that, combined with a generous cockpit and drop down skeg, results in a lovely touring kayak.
The Blackwater 10.5 drop down skeg is operated by the paddler from the cockpit; when the skeg is deployed the kayak tracks very well. More experienced paddlers will find the boat tracks well without using the skeg.
Best-paddled on sheltered coastal waters, estuary's,
lakes and slow moving river water. If you want to explore for half a day or so the Blackwater 10.5 is probably one of the best kayaks available.
Smaller paddlers (5 stone upward) find the Blackwater an easy kayak to paddle and control, but there is plenty of leg room for taller paddlers also.
The Blackwater 10.5 Expedition spec is fitted with a rear hatch and bulkhead. The 2009 outfitting includes
an improved comfortable seat with adjustable height backrest.
