Bantry Bay Canoes opened in May 2007.
The shop is an old freezer unit, in an industrial yard just outside of Bantry town, the high ceilings give us plenty of space for standing the longer kayaks properly.
We continue to expand the range of kayak and canoes manufacturers that we stock in the shop. We aim to have the best selection of boats for sale in Ireland, be it sit on top kayak, river kayak, open canoe or sea kayak!
We keep Dagger, Perception, Feelfree, Ocean Kayak, Pyranha, Venture Kayaks, Old Town Canoes, Northshore Kayaks, Robson, Wavesport, P&H, Pelican, & Mad River Canoes. |
During the winter, we have developed the equipment range available, we stock Yak, CSR, Peak & Palm amongst others.
Equipment ranges from seats for sit on top kayaks, to dry cags and pants for paddlers who are out in all weather and water!
Ciaran built new paddle racks, to better display the selection of kayak and canoe paddles from Feelfree, Palm, TNP, Carlisle, Robson, Lendal & Werner!
I try to display the full range of equipment on the website. But I don't always succeed, so if there is something you want, but you can't see it on the website, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks to friends Paddy & Joss Goggin, we now have a lovely purple sofa for those of you who need to take a break from the exhausting task of picking out a kayak, a canoe, or equipment. A mug of coffee is available to anyone who calls! |
